This is an edited piece from the soundtrack I wrote for the videogame “Overgrown”, and Overcooked inspired take on surviving climate change. I worked with an amazing team for this 48hour GameJam and we came up with this videogame for which I wrote the music and did the SFX. The game is played in a forest and you play as a squirrel so I used some wood percussion and an occasional piccolo to represent the scenery. I edited two loops together (the “regular” gameplay and the “frantic” one) and added the victory music at the end to showcase it here. You can play the game here Hope you enjoy it!

Small video I made to showcase my music. This video game won 1st place at the iThrive 48 hr Game Jam at DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, WA. The goal was to make a game that created empathy in the gamers, and we made that happen by creating a wide range of characters that would tell you their live story (some happy, some sad) and so in that way, making the player empathize with their feelings which will in turn give them the tools to solve the puzzles.
